Write My Story in 2023

02/13/2023

Those who believe they are intercessors should come together in 2023, to worship, honor, pray and praise God. People should not have to wonder if you love Jesus, it should be obvious by your behavior. This year, be the one in your surroundings that reflects the character of Jesus. You don't have to walk around shouting, like the religious, but you should have the demeanor of one who has a relationship with Him.

This year, let's live for the greatness and the glory of God. Let His light shine so that, those around you will want to know more about Jesus. Surrender carnal behavior and seek spiritual things. Your thinking, rationalizing, or personalizing things can hinder the presence of the Holy Spirit.

By nature, we want our own way, especially when there is a severe need. We craft prayers in our favor, then wonder why God has not answered. We say "Nevertheless not my will but Yours be done," but do we really mean that? We hope that "All things work together for good," but wonder, why is it taking so long? Sometimes the best strategy is to just "standing still."

This year, ask God for a daily dose of wisdom. "Lord, what would You have me to do today to bring you glory?" That is a great question to ask every day. King Solomon could have asked for anything, but he prayed and then he asked for wisdom. By asking the right question, he got more than he could ever think, hope or imagine. This year, let our mouths speak praises of the greatness and miraculous God that we serve. He is still the God of impossible. Through Him, we can - no we will do all things in 2023.

I am excited to begin a new year in Christ; to allow Him to write my story; edit areas that are incorrect; and, proofread it until it reflects His perfect will. I want some things that I did not receive in 2023, but I believe they are coming to past in God's perfect timing. The affliction of the season is brief in compared to the glory God has in store.

No matter what happened in 2022, the bible tells us to forget about it and press on to the new things. New mercies are given daily, this year, let's embrace God who gives us exactly what we need in His - not our perfect time. I am excited to see how our stories end, and yes I say so.
